Case Study The River Yealm Hotel, Newton Ferrers, South Devon

Groundworks package for a residential development scheme comprising the refurbishment of an existing riverfront Hotel and luxury new build apartments and houses. 

Works included:

  • Demolition of extensions and internal soft strip out of Hotel;
  • Identification and licenced disposal of Asbestos containing materials;
  • Installation of all new services and utilities including connections into mains services within adjacent road;
  • Slope re-profiling, installation of rock netting, rock pinning and soil nailing for slope stabilisation;
  • Construction of gabion cage/basket retaining walls;
  • Installation of Tensar green slope geotextile stabilisation system to provide a car deck;
  • Landscaping of site.
